Who we are

A junior research path inside CAMPUS

The PoliPhysics Lab aims to deepen physics education for high-achieving students, particularly olympiad participants, through research, computational modeling, and advanced problem-solving.

Activities develop a profound understanding of physical phenomena and familiarity with numerical simulation, data analysis, signal processing, and experimental verification in a university setting.

Part of PoliPhysics Junior at the CAMPUS Research Institute, National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.

What students work on

Original computational research projects, competition preparation, and mentoring toward top universities and advanced scientific work.

    Electromagnetic modeling, diffraction, scattering, and RCS for remote sensing.

    Photonics & quantum optics

    FDTD light propagation, photonic structures, and optical bench validation.

    Monte Carlo methods, deterministic chaos, and complex systems modeling.

    Computational astrophysics

    Ray tracing in curved spacetime, gravitational lensing, and HPC analysis.
